Clients Brief: To extend and modernise a classic 1960’s weatherboard home.

Floor Area: 250m2

Key Design Features: The key living areas of the existing house have been extended, and a new master suite and double garage has been added to the street façade of this home. The main entry is approached via broad steps and planters that ‘frame’ the stack-bonded blockwork chimney of the main living room. Outdoor patio areas are sheltered by a timber pergola and feature a second outdoor fire for entertaining.

Key Building Features: The building is clad in timber weatherboard and plaster, with a opening Louvretec roof, mahogany deck, and  stainless steel button and glass balustrade.
